00 THE EAGLE HAS LANDED

An investigation of two archives; NASA’s Apollo 11 image database and the Rijksmuseum Colonial Collection. Through various editorial explorations, a political narrative unfolds throughout the spreads of this 218 page book.

Inviting the reader to develop their own narratives, each page is printed on thin 70 gsm paper, where images begin to blur together and the two archives meld into one ongoing story. The cover and middle signature of the book are printed in light grey and bright red Risograph ink, nodding towards the visual language of NASA while simultaneously creating a disturbance in the visual narrative.

Produced alongside Artur Costa Ricós with words from Emma Wellejus. Guidance for this project from Joost Grootens and Claus Due at the Royal Danish Academy.

Edition of 3.
